Online Food Service/Establishment Inspection Reports All facilities which are licensed through the health department are required, by law, to be inspected by the health department. The number of inspections per licensing period depends on the risk level it has been given.

There are four classifications, or risk levels, ranging from I to IV.

Risk level I 
A facility that sells only prepackaged food and drink. With little potential risk to the public with handling of product.

Risk level II 
Poses a higher risk to the public than level I because of hand contact or employee health concerns.

Risk level III 
Poses a higher risk than level II because of proper cooking temperatures, proper cooling, and proper cold or hot holding temperatures. Risk level III is where most of our restaurants are classified. Risk level IV Poses the greatest risk to the public health due to handling, preparation, cooking, and hot holding, cooling down and reheating in bulk of food products. The facilities falling into this category include some restaurants, nursing homes, caterers, and in some cases grocery stores. Each classification is required to have a certain number of inspections per licensing period. The number of inspections are as follows: Risk level I - at least one inspection per year Risk level II - at least one inspection per year Risk level III - at least 2 standard inspections per year

Risk level IV
At least 2 standard inspections and 2 critical control point inspections (CCP) per year.
