Office of Local and Regional Health (OLRH)

OLRH provides local public health with the resources, tools, and support they need to promote and protect the health of their communities. We offer training and technical assistance in response to the unique challenges and needs faced by local public health.

We also provide a focus for state-local public health systems coordination. We support improvements in local public health performance and quality, and promote a skilled public health workforce. We connect our local public health partners with Department of Public Health programs, services, and resources, and advance public health planning at the local level.
