Interpretation Services.

Frontier Health’s dedicated staff provide communication between people who are hearing and people who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing. People who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing are not billed for interpreting services.

A staff interpreter is available to interpret for emergency situations when a Deaf or Hard of Hearing individual is involved. Call (423) 434-0447. Interpreters are available to schedule outside of normal business hours and on weekends.

Assistance is provided in various personal settings including social or medical. If needed, CCDHH can help make referrals to meet individual needs or network for more intensive specialized services or community resources including job placement, mental health counseling, audiologists or psychologists in 11 Tennessee counties: Carter, Claiborne, Cocke, Greene, Hamblen, Hancock, Hawkins, Johnson, Sullivan, Unicoi, and Washington.
