COVID-19 Medical Professional and Non-Medical Responders

The Tennessee Medical Reserve Corps is seeking workers (medical and non-medical) who have been furloughed and are seeking employment.

Responders do not need to have a medical background. Tennessee is calling on all people who may be out of work due to business closures (such as stores and restaurants). To register today, click on one of the buttons below to sign up for the Tennessee Medical Reserve Corps COVID-19 response.

The Tennessee Volunteer Mobilizer is a secure,  confidential volunteer registry site maintained by the  Department of Health’s Emergency Preparedness program. During the registration process, you will be asked whether you are looking for a paid or volunteer position. Registering does not guarantee that you will be called upon, nor does it mean that you must participate if called.

If you are called to work or volunteer, you will have the opportunity to learn more about the specific commitment, responsibilities, and pay.

During the online registration process, you will be asked to enter information regarding the best way to contact you, any active licenses or certifications, and other relevant background data. All required information (notated by the red asterisk) must be completed within the application. Once registered, prior to your application being approved, your license (if applicable) will be verified through the Tennessee Health Related Board's website verification system, as well as, a background check.

Once your application is approved you will receive notification of your registration into the system and opportunities to support the COVID-19 response.
